Bob & Lin Retire from the Waterloo Arms

Late evening on 1st April 2007 Bob & Lin called 'Time' for the last time as Landlord & Landlady at the Waterloo Arms, Freemantle Road, Southampton after serving customers there for at least the last six years.

Bob and Lin held a farewell party the previous Wednesday and the pub was even more overflowing than usual. On the final night the regulars bid their final thanks & farewell before Bob called 'Last Orders' for the last time, shortly followed by 'Time'. The pub of course remains open and we welcome new incumbents Brian and Rose.
