Sat 28th
Salisbury IS OPEN Saunter
It will not have escaped your notice that Salisbury hit the world headlines last month following the poisoning in the city of a former Russian agent.  The resulting publicity has had an effect on footfall in the town and many businesses, including pubs, are suffering. We're joining the local CAMRA branch on a saunter around the pubs of Salisbury to support Salisbury's pubs.  Open to all - CAMRA members and non-CAMRA members; real ale drinkers and non-real ale drinkers.
Meet at Southampton Central station to catch the 11:10 train (arrives 11:35), from where we'll meet up with others on the Guildhall steps before visiting many excellent pubs.
Contact Andy Burrows for more information. Phone: 07540 189807.

Mon 7th
Itchen Navigation Pub Walk
Start Woodmill, Southampton
An annual stroll along the old Itchen Navigation towpath, calling in on a few pubs on the way. Depart from Woodmill Bridge, Southampton at 9.30am, reaching The Black Boy, Winchester around 2.45pm. Usually a pub or two more then a curry. Join us en route if you like - we expect to be at Steam Town, Bishopstoke Road, Eastleigh at 11am, and the Bridge, Shawford around 1.30pm. Please note that departure is now at 9.30am once again, following a few years when there has been no open pub to go to a 11am in Bishopstoke. Steam Town is new micro-brewery and brewery tap that opened late November and has quickly found much favour in Eastleigh, and it's on our route - just turn left, not right, at Bishopstoke Road!
